Time for Prints or more often called  “TFP” is a common term used by models and photographers. It can sometimes mean “trade for prints” or “test for prints”

Time For Print (TFP) is an arrangement between a model and myself, where I agree to shoot an agreed number of photographs of a model and provide the model with a limited license to use the best photos chosen from the shoot.

The model provides their time. In exchange for the images taken on the day, This arrangement works very well for both parties (photographer and model) who are interested in trying new lighting techniques, photography equipment & props or want to build their portfolio, it especially works for models who want to try new poses facial expressions or new locations using these new photos for their books. This also helps but models who are unable to afford the photography rates.
